WHO WE ARE

Cleona Flowers is run by Dara Machotka-Hafey. She has lived in Lebanon County since 2017 in both Annville and Cleona. She and her family have called Cleona home for 5 years. Dara is originally from Northern Va and has also lived in Florida and New Mexico. Her husband, Jonathan, is originally from Mt. Gretna. Jonathan and daughter, Nia, help with this business, as well as a few other locals in Lebanon County. Dara’s involvement in the community includes past employment as a substitute teacher in Lebanon County and as an Animal Care Technician at the Humane Society of Lebanon County, which she remains a kitten foster parent.

Other endeavors revolve around her daughter’s athletics and the volunteer opportunities associated with being a student-athlete parent. In her free time, Dara (pronounced Dare-uh) enjoys swimming, pickleball and tennis, as well as gardening and landscaping and last, but not least, spending time with her family, which also includes her 6 cats, dog and turtle. All rescues. She has 10 years of experience as a floral designer and has worked every aspect within the floral industry. Flowers are her passion. She looks forward to meeting and sharing her art with you. You’ll also become familiar with Jonathan's Green VW Doka. It looks like a cross between a VW Vanagon and a Truck. She’ll be one of the main delivery vehicles that we will use to transport your deliveries. Jonathan will be more than happy to share all about it and let you take a pic.

We, at Cleona Flowers, will do our best to deliver on the dates and times that have been requested. If for unforeseen circumstances, we cannot, we will contact you to inform you of any changes. We guarantee that our products will be delivered as fresh and as beautiful as when they left our shop.

We keep delivery fees as low as possible, so that more of your money goes towards the product that you are ordering. The delivery price attached to the item must be charged due to fuel costs and vehicle wear and tear. These charges may go up during peak holiday seasons because our suppliers charge more for their products during these high demand periods.

You can be assured that our Delivery Costs are competitive with other area florists, and in many cases, even lower.

At Cleona Flowers, we strive to provide exceptional service and products for you and yours. Our products are crafted with care with your needs in mind. When you put your trust in us to create orders, you give us the responsibility to not only custom design gifts, but to do so in a timely, cost effective and as ecologically sound way as we can. From birth celebrations to weddings, we are there for you.

When choosing delivery, it is an integral part of your order, so items should look as lovely as when they left the shop.

Many of our products are perishable. Keeping that in mind, flower arrangements, as an example, should have a shelf life of between 5 days to 2 weeks, depending on the types of flowers. That being said, sometimes fresh cut flowers do not open-up the way that we anticipated. Roses, for instance, may only open partially, or not at all. In cases like this, bring in the product within 5 days of receipt, or take a picture and email it to us at cleonaflowers@outlook.com and we will replace the product, free of charge.

If we haven’t met all of these expectations, for any reason, please reach out to us. We will do our best to give you what you intended.

If for any reason you’d like to cancel your order, please call us as soon as possible at: 717-279-1585. We will be happy to refund your payment. However, if the item is out for delivery, we will not be able to refund the delivery fee. If the items are specialty perishables, i.e., fruit baskets or baked goods, we will retain a $10 fee.

Returns

To provide you with the best possible service, you can return your order for replacement or refund.

Flowers & Perishable Products

If you are not fully satisfied with your gift, we will replace that product to your satisfaction. To receive the replacement product, please call us at: 717-279-1585.

Specialty Gifts

Specialty gift items that are non-perishable may be returned for any reason, for a full refund (within 7 days of receipt of the item) provided the items are returned unopened with the original packing materials and documentation.

Please note that we can refund shipping fees only if the return is a result of our error. Otherwise, you will receive a full refund for the cost of the specialty gift item, but the original and return shipping fee will not be refunded. To return an item, please call us at 717-279-1585.

We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned gift item. You can expect a refund, in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase, within seven to fourteen days of our receiving your return.

Occasionally, we will not have flowers or containers or the like that are shown on the website. In cases like this, Cleona Flowers reserves the right to tastefully substitute. We will do this to the best of our ability if we do not have the exact items to fill the order with.

Substitutions will always be of equal value.
